Baker of trends travels!

Hey fashionistas!!! hope you've all had a fabulous weekend, this beaut weather has definitely been good to us! especially in London, with the weather being so amazing I had a lot of fun exploring and eating at the best places!

Day 1

Its always exciting to be in London, so many things to do and so many things to see. Getting a train at 6 in the morning isn't exactly the best but travelling with my girl was certainly fun! As she was working at the IMATS. I, baker of trends was exploring London myself! with university over they have left me with lots of summer work to do!! so I took the oppurtunity to explore the up and coming trends of outerwear! It was quite fun researching this all. But let's not talk about university any more! We all deserve this break!!!

I headed down to Carnaby Street, the little boutiques and designer shops helped me with my research. Everything is so edgy and quirky! especially in the boutiques. I love how they are only based in London. It makes it more worth while travelling down hehe! one of my fave boutiques have to be Dahlia! if you girls haven't heard of them before you should seriosuly check them out! I mean statement sunnies to the perfectly designed tops and super cool accessories! I'm telling you, you'll want to buy the whole shop!

So I tend to do a lot of online shopping at &Other Stories! but it was my first time actually checking out the store itself! it was packed with edgy fashionistas who had a handful of clothes to try on. Literally the fitting rooms had a huge line! of course I was in it too, it was totally worth the wait. One thing I love about this brand is how how their lines are diverse and range from feminine to masculine tailoring. You can't go wrong! I am a major fan of the masculine look! It's so bad ass and edgy!

After all the shopping and gathering my research, I met up with my boo Nusaiba +IAMNDORA. We had the cutest little date catching up and having blogger like conversations. It was perfect to be chilling with nussi at her little hangout, stuffing my face with the best burger! to me that is the perfect date haha! Isn't it great when you can just connect with someone so easily?! She's so down to earth and super cool!

Outfit Details
Travelling always calls for a comfy outfit, I wore a navy linen jumpsuit that I got from Miss Selfridges, from the sale section!!! £25. I paired this with my Adidas Stan Smiths and my mini Christian Siriano bag!

This look is so easy to style and you just can't go wrong! Jumpsuits are so easy to wear and can be styled in many ways! Statement earrings would be the perfect glam look to take you right through to the evening with heels! Or even some gorgeous flats with a slight heel!

Casual is always the way to go

Pout it out!!!

I look like I'm going to jump kick someone but I swear I'm not!

Day 2

A trip to the fashion and textile museum, getting to the museum was okay-ish! I'm great with catching  the tube in London and knowing where to go but the walk to the museum was slightly confusing. for this I had to pull out google maps!

Outside of the museum looked super cool, with its orange walls and the pink entrance. I am so in love with colourful buildings, it's like being in Notting hill, a place I still need to visit!
So i attended the Missoni exhibition which was all about the importance of fabrics, before walking in there was a short clip on how they professionally dye the fabrics to get the colours they want. It was super interesting to see how they do it, and then to see all of Missoni's fabric collections that included, zigzag motifs, stripes, waves and club yanks in a patchwork of geometric and floral jacquard. I fell in love with knitwear that was displayed!!! I would totally recommend visiting the exhibitions!

If you haven't heard of Missoni, where have you been?? You fashionBOTS need to check her out! the brand is incredibly amazing and they are known as one of the best representatives of Italian fashion and design excellence around the world.

For my outfit I wore this luxurious silk green blouse from +H&M, the conscious collection. I loved the sleeves with the ruffles at the front with gathers and a tie knot at the top. Elastication at the bottom for a gathered effect.  Its the kind of blouse every woman needs!!! I paired this with my blue jeans from Miss Selfridges. Also my all time fave brogues from +ASOS
This silk blouse is a must have!!!

I love finding quiet streets

Oops my bags the wrong way round!!!

In the evening I met up with my girlies after they had a long day working the IMATS! it was also my girls birthday so it definitely called for a birthday meal at one of the finest places I know in Mayfair, Mamounia Lounge. with an authentic arabic drinking and dining experience. Keeping it halal, we stuck with our Virgin Mojitos. None of us had eaten all day so we stuffed our faces with the mouth watering and heavenly food. p.s. the Sea-bass was my favourite.

Outfit Details
Another blouse from +H&M which I had been eyeing up for quite a while, It was still in store so thats a sign, right girls? I fell in love with these kick flare ankle jeans, with the raw edged hems. I paired  this outfit with these really classy heels from @zara also this lovely detailed shawl from +Primark

Another must have blouse

Totally feeling this outfit! gold heels (YES)

Don't you love it when you find a perfect shawl to compliment your outfit!

Day 3

A day spent well with the familia, seeing as though it was our last day! We had to take a trip to harrods, I'll never get bored of harrods it's too good to let go. Oh and Disney will never get old, EVER!!! Because the weather was so lovely and hot (Yayyy). This called for some ice cream at the disney's Wild West cafe. Not even kidding, the best ice cream I've tasted!
We spend quite a bit of time in harrods (oops) so many floors and so much to see!!! We eventually found a way out haha!
Ooh and for dinner we tried out this Persian restaurant, Alounak which was really nice inside, of course because of it being a Persian restaurant. it had the  persian vibes all round, from the lightings and lovely mirrors. You could also watch them prepare the naan freshly. Probably the lightest and fluffiest naan I've eaten! The aromatic rice and zesty chicken was literally so tasty!!

I had a little trouble with my outfit for the third day! silly me thought it was going to be cold so I brought my jumper, I wouldn't survive!!! So I thought because I styled the blouse (above) for the evening. why not show you how to style it in a casual way for you fashionBOTS!!!
London doors are the perfect spot

suns out, shades out

trainers and leather jacket to complete this look

The most, incredible, exciting, funniest time I've had in London, I can't wait to be back! I also have some very exciting news to tell you girls, but it will have to wait!!!

Till next time fashionBOTS!!! Stay fab 🌸

Style steal - Primark vs. Zara

Hey my beaut fashionBOTS!!! Hope you're all well and getting through this miserable week and weather! I know I'm not. With a deadline right around the corner, I am sat here writing this blogpost for you girls because y'all need to know about my incredibly awesome style steal!

Yes I'm getting excited but it's only because, you know when you find something and you love it? But then you see a similar style and feel proud that you went for the cheapest because it looks hella expensive!!! Yeah that was me when I found this classy jacket!!!

So the khaki jacket I fell in love with, was from Primark! I know I know, amazing right? It was a suede jacket and I'm all for suede right now so it was perfect!
After buying the jacket £20 from primarni. I went in to Zara and saw a similar style, only in a different colour, turquoise!! My fave colour hehe, but it was so similar to the one in Primark! The one in Zara was around £40 which doesn't fit in with the student life, as much as I love Zara! I'm sorry to say that i do love a good bargain!

Roaming around London with my soul sisters was pretty perfect, it was cute to meet up after ages! Long distance relationships ey! So painful & to catchup, we had the most wonderful afternoon tea at the Burberry cafe! Burberry cafe? Yes I can't believe it either! It's the best thing to happen to Burberry, the cafe was filled with elegance and of course Layout is important, everything was set out beautifully and of course presented well. The service was incredible, I would definitely recommend going!!! You won't want to leave.

When it comes to afternoon tea and dining at a prestige cafe, I wouldn't have it any other way! These girls are perfect to travel and explore with!

Outfit detailss!!!

So with the khaki suede jacket from Primark, I wore this with a cream jumper and blue ankle grazed ripped jeans!! Also my booties! To pull the look together I wore my glasses, geek chic is an amazing look that will always stay fabulous!!!

Saadiya Rahman Masterclass

Hey fashionBOTS!! Hope you're all well!
Today I had an amazing time blogging for the masterclass that was held by the beaut Saadiya Rahman! I've been following her on snapchat recently and shes incredibly nice! It was a pleasure to meet her and see her work her magic!

Now I'm not gonna go in to detail of how she did the makeup, that's the perks you get from attending the masterclass, so sorry guys! But the way she showed all us girls how to apply makeup was seriously amazing! She makes everything look easy. It's the first masterclass I've ever been too and it was also saadiya's first! She's so humble and down to earth, for real you guys have to check her out if you don't already know her, which is crazy because you should!! Hehe.

The event was held at Selfridges&Co which was really cool! Everything was well presented, from the posters, to the seating & the lovely complimentary drinks also not to forget the delish cupcakes.

Now I've heard all about masterclasses and their goody bags, Saadiya Rahman's goody bag was legit the best! I mean seriously guys I had the chance to buy what I wanted! With a £100 voucher!!! The makeup that was being used on the gorgeous model was stunning, she also let us swatch the products that were being used. I really liked this because I had the chance to actually look at the product and test it out myself!!

I attended the masterclass with Zarina @MAKEUPBYZARINA_ so you all should know how that went down, especially when makeup shopping!! It's great to have her with me! I always need some advice when it comes to makeup so thanks for that!!!

I would highly recommend going to Saadiya Rahman's masterclasses! You will not regret it, her skills and knowledge are amazing. She doesn't hide anything from you! This is something I love about her!

For this event I wanted something smart and preppy, I achieved this look by wearing this really cool belted dungaree. I wore a white shirt with the outfit to make it look all preppy! I got the jumpsuit from Asos &  it was super comfy! I definitely fell in love with the colour. Navy all the way!!! Also my fave colour hehe. Ooh and I had the perfect pair of heels to compliment the whole look and pull it all together! The heels I got, are from Zara! and.. Drum roll please... They were £17.99 whaattt, I do love Zara when they've got a sale on haha! Zara's heels have always been my fave! I love how classy they look. I also added a silver clutch (ASOS) with this whole outfit! Glamour all the way!!! I hope you girls love this look and I'd love to see you style something similar, if you do make sure you tag me on Instagram!! @Sadief_

Stay tuned for more fashionBOTS!!! I have another adventurous day up my sleeve this week!

Crazy day with the cool kids!

Hey fashionBOTS!!! hope you're all well. I had a very adventurous day today, I felt like a little kid or should I say big kid!! 4D golfing was super awesome, going through a maze that was filled with mummies, dark and glowy which was part of the 4D experience! I wouldn't say I'm a pro at golfing but, I did win!! maybe I should think about taking it up professionally. I could totally make it, Tiger Woods watch your back!!

Arcade galore! I have to admit I did go pretty crazy, like they say you're always a kid at heart. So many little games for you to play and just enjoy yourself. not to forget winning, we all know how important that is! I am so competitive haha. Also the amazing 6D experience! now that was the perfect thrill ride hahaha! You should totally check this place out, its great for having fun and just enjoying yourselves with either your friends or family! it'll totally be worth it. Xcape in Castleford.

Lets get back to the main topic which is my outfit! I went for a very cool relaxed look today because it was the right attire for my adventurous day.

You all know that I'm a fan of shirts because they are easy to wear and style! I recently picked up a red and white stripy shirt from Primark, It is an oversized shirt which is great for all my modest fashionistas out there!!! you can style this shirt in many ways. I wanted to go for a loose fit look so I paired it with my mom jeans that I got from Topshop and my Stan Smith trainers from Asos.

musée d'amour

Hey fashionBOTS!!! Hope you're all well!

Today I took a trip down to the Bowes museum which was beau! I fell in love with everything, the view was just stunning! I couldn't stop taking pictures. I'm a major museum lover so I went totally crazy! A magnificent French château created in the late 19th century by John and Joséphine Bowes, which acclamed collections of European fine and decorative arts spanning five centuries. That art was bold and vibrant with a lot of history behind every drawing! (Obviously!)  It was so colourful and dreamlike! I sat there for a while just looking at all the inspiring art. It was so expressive! Also the fashion and textile area (yes!!!) was so pretty! Historical fashion and amazing pieces that they put out for everyone to see, even though I've seen some of it before, it's always fun looking back at it all!!! Each garment had stunning details! The embroidery was so intricate. The museum it's self was incredible, for all you fashionistas out there! You should totally check out this musuem!! totally in love with it all! It was a great day spent well with my girl!

Outfit Details •

Today I went very casual! With a black Turtle neck and blue jeans! occasionnel et réfrigéré!!! I added my navy jacket which I love because It can be styled up or down!! A day spent well with Dora the explorer

So yesterday I went to London to see Dora (IAMNDORA) and I had the most incredible day chilling out! She is the sweetest person! But also her style is insanely cool, oh and she is funny as hell! Literally like my long lost twin! It was totally worth the travel because I had such a wonderful time being crazy with her!

So we ate at an Arabic restaurant and the food was delish! Also inside, Woah it was so pretty and colourful. I would definitely recommend going there. The sharwarma was great! Like they say great food with amazing company is always the best. Or as Maria sharapova says, which I absolutely agree on 'It's easy to impress me. I don't need a fancy party to be happy. Just good friends, good food, and good laughs. I'm happy. I'm satisfied. I'm content'.

Spontaneous days like yesterday are always the best, I loved every minute! Not to forget the amazing presents. It was so thoughtful, a box full of cool goodies, I can't wait to use everything!!! She knows me too well haha!

I Can't wait for another trip down, maybe I should just live in London! I know a lot of people say living in London would be so boring but if I'm totally honest, I would NEVER get bored! It's the place to be always!

Now on to my outfit, once I put this outfit together I found that I looked like a tourist! But I was totally cool with that! I wore a colour I thought I could never pull off, Mint coloured trousers. But I did! After my sisters convinced me enough! I then paired my outfit with a grey V neck jumper and a dark blue jacket. Which looked slightly like a bomber jacket! Oh and grey shoes to pull it off which were comfy of course and perfect for walking in London haha! We all know the struggle with heels. Never again
