Day 1
Its always exciting to be in London, so many things to do and so many things to see. Getting a train at 6 in the morning isn't exactly the best but travelling with my girl was certainly fun! As she was working at the IMATS. I, baker of trends was exploring London myself! with university over they have left me with lots of summer work to do!! so I took the oppurtunity to explore the up and coming trends of outerwear! It was quite fun researching this all. But let's not talk about university any more! We all deserve this break!!!
I headed down to Carnaby Street, the little boutiques and designer shops helped me with my research. Everything is so edgy and quirky! especially in the boutiques. I love how they are only based in London. It makes it more worth while travelling down hehe! one of my fave boutiques have to be Dahlia! if you girls haven't heard of them before you should seriosuly check them out! I mean statement sunnies to the perfectly designed tops and super cool accessories! I'm telling you, you'll want to buy the whole shop!
So I tend to do a lot of online shopping at &Other Stories! but it was my first time actually checking out the store itself! it was packed with edgy fashionistas who had a handful of clothes to try on. Literally the fitting rooms had a huge line! of course I was in it too, it was totally worth the wait. One thing I love about this brand is how how their lines are diverse and range from feminine to masculine tailoring. You can't go wrong! I am a major fan of the masculine look! It's so bad ass and edgy!
After all the shopping and gathering my research, I met up with my boo Nusaiba +IAMNDORA. We had the cutest little date catching up and having blogger like conversations. It was perfect to be chilling with nussi at her little hangout, stuffing my face with the best burger! to me that is the perfect date haha! Isn't it great when you can just connect with someone so easily?! She's so down to earth and super cool!

Travelling always calls for a comfy outfit, I wore a navy linen jumpsuit that I got from Miss Selfridges, from the sale section!!! £25. I paired this with my Adidas Stan Smiths and my mini Christian Siriano bag!
This look is so easy to style and you just can't go wrong! Jumpsuits are so easy to wear and can be styled in many ways! Statement earrings would be the perfect glam look to take you right through to the evening with heels! Or even some gorgeous flats with a slight heel!
Day 2
A trip to the fashion and textile museum, getting to the museum was okay-ish! I'm great with catching the tube in London and knowing where to go but the walk to the museum was slightly confusing. for this I had to pull out google maps!
In the evening I met up with my girlies after they had a long day working the IMATS! it was also my girls birthday so it definitely called for a birthday meal at one of the finest places I know in Mayfair, Mamounia Lounge. with an authentic arabic drinking and dining experience. Keeping it halal, we stuck with our Virgin Mojitos. None of us had eaten all day so we stuffed our faces with the mouth watering and heavenly food. p.s. the Sea-bass was my favourite.

Outside of the museum looked super cool, with its orange walls and the pink entrance. I am so in love with colourful buildings, it's like being in Notting hill, a place I still need to visit!
So i attended the Missoni exhibition which was all about the importance of fabrics, before walking in there was a short clip on how they professionally dye the fabrics to get the colours they want. It was super interesting to see how they do it, and then to see all of Missoni's fabric collections that included, zigzag motifs, stripes, waves and club yanks in a patchwork of geometric and floral jacquard. I fell in love with knitwear that was displayed!!! I would totally recommend visiting the exhibitions!
If you haven't heard of Missoni, where have you been?? You fashionBOTS need to check her out! the brand is incredibly amazing and they are known as one of the best representatives of Italian fashion and design excellence around the world.
For my outfit I wore this luxurious silk green blouse from +H&M, the conscious collection. I loved the sleeves with the ruffles at the front with gathers and a tie knot at the top. Elastication at the bottom for a gathered effect. Its the kind of blouse every woman needs!!! I paired this with my blue jeans from Miss Selfridges. Also my all time fave brogues from +ASOS

Day 3
A day spent well with the familia, seeing as though it was our last day! We had to take a trip to harrods, I'll never get bored of harrods it's too good to let go. Oh and Disney will never get old, EVER!!! Because the weather was so lovely and hot (Yayyy). This called for some ice cream at the disney's Wild West cafe. Not even kidding, the best ice cream I've tasted!
We spend quite a bit of time in harrods (oops) so many floors and so much to see!!! We eventually found a way out haha!

Ooh and for dinner we tried out this Persian restaurant, Alounak which was really nice inside, of course because of it being a Persian restaurant. it had the persian vibes all round, from the lightings and lovely mirrors. You could also watch them prepare the naan freshly. Probably the lightest and fluffiest naan I've eaten! The aromatic rice and zesty chicken was literally so tasty!!
I had a little trouble with my outfit for the third day! silly me thought it was going to be cold so I brought my jumper, I wouldn't survive!!! So I thought because I styled the blouse (above) for the evening. why not show you how to style it in a casual way for you fashionBOTS!!!
The most, incredible, exciting, funniest time I've had in London, I can't wait to be back! I also have some very exciting news to tell you girls, but it will have to wait!!!
